Environmental Buffs
There are different buffs that can be found around the map in Deadlock that can give you a strong advantage over enemies.
Permanent Buffs
From 3 minutes into a match, Golden Statues can be found around the map and be smashed to reveal certain buffs.

The buffs received from Golden Statues are permanent and last for the entire match.
They are stackable, have an approximately 50% drop rate* and once broken will respawn after 3 minutes.
They can increase Spirit Power, Fire Rate, Ammo (magazine size), Weapon (and Melee) Damage, Ability Cooldown Reduction and Max HP.
The buffs increase after 15 minutes, amounts shown in the table below.
Between 3 minutes and 15 minutes
- +2 Spirit Power
- +1.5% Fire Rate
- +4% Ammo (Magazine Size)
- +3% Weapon/Melee Damage
- 0.75% Ability Cooldown Reduction
- +15 Max HP
After 15 minutes
- +3 Spirit Power
- +2% Fire Rate
- +6% Ammo (Magazine Size)
- +4% Weapon/Melee Damage
- +1% Ability Cooldown Reduction
- +20 Max HP
* This was calculated based on our own personal testing and is not fully confirmed but appears to be accurate.
Temporary Buffs
At 2 locations on the map, on bridges on either side of the mid point, there are grates/vents which spawn temporary buffs.

They do not need to be smashed, just walked into to claim. These buffs last for 160 seconds once claimed, or until you die, whichever comes first.
They initially spawn at 10 minutes into a match, and are called either “Gun”, “Survival”, “Casting” or “Movement”, and respawn every 5 minutes, regardless of whether they are picked up or not. If not picked up however the type of Buff will change.
Grate/Vent location is shown on the map when they spawn by circle symbols as shown below.

Values of these temporary buffs remain the same throughout the match, they do not increase depending on the amount of time the match has been going on.
Values of Temporary Buffs
- Gun: +40% Magazine Size and +20% Fire Rate
- Survival: +400 Max HP and +1% HP Regeneration*
- Casting: +20% Ability Cooldown Reduction and +25 Spirit
- Movement: +2 Stamina, +3 Sprint, +30% Stamina Regeneration and +50% Zipline Boost
*E.g. Grey Talon has base HP of 550 and regeneration of 2. After getting the Survival Buff, his HP becomes 950. Based on the 1% added regeneration, the total regeneration becomes 9.5 (1% of 950 HP) + 2 (base regeneration), giving an overall regeneration of 11.5.
