There are so many items in the shop, it can be hard to know which ones to buy. If you are having difficulty countering the enemy team, there are some items that work well to counter any hero in Deadlock, in particular –

Unstoppable is used on yourself, and suppresses any negative status effects, and makes you immune to stun, silence, sleep, root and disarm for 6 seconds

Curse is used on an enemy, and interrupts, silences, disarms and prevents item usage, so can be used to stop any Ultimate/Ability for 3.25 seconds

Ethereal Shift is used on yourself, you become untargetable and invincible for 3.5 seconds (Note; you will not be able to move or do anything while using this)

Increasing your movement is also a good way to get away from many enemy heroes and can be buffed by –

Increase sprint speed and movement speed (harder to hit and run faster)

Extra stamina and stamina recovery (more dashes more quickly)

(Active) Teleport 11m ahead and gain 30% Bullet resist

We have also made a list below suggesting items to buy that counter each specific hero if you and your team find yourselves facing a particularly difficult opponent. We have included armor suggestions (which are generally advisable anyway), and stated which type of armor is more likely to help protect you against each hero. The list is not exhaustive, you may have to adapt your build depending on the play style/build of the opponent, but in general, we believe these are solid choices to help you survive and successfully counter every hero in Deadlock.

Hey! I strongly feel like for wraith you need to put spirit armor there as well. She can go either way, and will wreck you either way.

Yeah that’s true, she’s one who can build either way. I’ll edit it to show that. Thanks!
